About twenty years ago, I was visiting some friends who lived in Summit, just north of McComb, and I remarked to myself that this would be a great place to live. Over the years, each returning visit left me with the same impression.
In the Spring of 2001, I moved my family from the Jackson area to McComb, and we couldn’t be happier.
We love it here. There is a quality of life in McComb unlike any place I’ve ever lived: Small town America, The South, the people, and the wonderful sense of belonging.
And, that’s what this blog is all about. I want the readers to know that we’ve got a good thing going on here in McComb.
The topic of the day will range from local politics to events around town, to interesting people I’ve met, to stories that I’ve read in the local paper. I’ll also post topics on state politics, and occasionally on national topics as well.
FYI: The bias-meter skews to the right, but all visitors are welcome, and comments are invited.
